Get Ready to Stash The Cash in April!

Youth Week game challenges members to maximize their (pi)rate of return at the credit union.

Your young (and young at heart) members will celebrate Youth Week with Stash Your Cash, a new game unlike any they’ve seen so far in Googolplex.

Game Mastermind Marty Kelly, sometimes known as the VP of marketing and business development at US Federal Credit Union, is blowing the gangplanks off the Googolplex poop deck!

Stash Your Cash is a pirate-themed game that starts each wanna-be pirate off with $100 to purchase their booty over 30 simulated days. While they cast their nets, players are challenged to learn about and maximize their (pi)rate of return.

Stash Your Cash provides three different levels of difficulty on 5-Spot (easy), AJ’s (harrr-der) and C-Note (harrr-dest). That means elementary school, middle

You can get the link early! Register your credit union for the National Youth Savings Challenge and get your link to Stash Your Cash during the last week of March.

Instant poll results—Cheating*

The results of the December Instant Poll question might surprise you. The number of respondents to this question was average, so this question was no more and no less a popular topic with high school students than all the other questions.

Know what's coming: Stories and games that teach and entertain
March, April and May 2007 lineup in Googolplex.

Give youth print and online newsletters!
Every quarter we send you enough ready-to-print pages to create three full newsletters – one for elementary-school, middle-school, and high-school level readers. We provide newsletters in high resolution for print, and low resolution for e-mail or online viewing.

These lively newsletter pages give your young members previews of stories, activities and comics for the coming three months. Use them to direct young readers to your credit union web site, so they can see what’s new at Googolplex!

IMPORTANT: You add your credit union logo and mailing information. You can print and distribute them, and also make them available as a link on your web site. Got that creative bug? Add your own stories, art, more pages, or customize in other ways - it’s up to you!

Here’s what you get:

  • Complete newsletter pages (in high resolution PDF and JPEG formats) for elementary through high school students. The newsletters feature comics, activities and teasers about stories and games for the coming three months.
  • All of those same newsletter pages in low-resolution PDF format for online and e-mail use.

Here’s how you get it:
To retrieve the ready-to-print, ready-to-view newsletter pages each quarter, log in to your Googolplex Set-up and Promotion page, select the pages you need, and download them free of charge.
