Are you customizing your free Googolplex newsletters for young members?

You can customize the newsletters using Microsoft Word, right from your PC. Here’s how:

1. Log onto this site to view and download the newsletters.
2. Right-click on the file name below the image you want to use; choose "Save Target As;" find the folder you want to save it in; name the file and save it.
3. Create a new, blank document in Word, with quarter-inch margins on all sides.
4. Use the "Insert," "Picture," and "From File" commands to place the file you saved on the page.
5. Double click on the image, select the "Layout" tab, and pick the wrapping style "Behind Text." Use the arrow keys in your numeric keypad to center the image, or grab it with a left click and move it.
6. Adjust the image size to your needs by left clicking on any of the "handles" on the corners.
7. Use the same procedures as in Step 4 to insert and size your logo, except choose the wrapping style "In Front of Text."
8. Use the "Insert," and "Text Box" commands to insert a text box for your credit union URL onto your logo.
   • A font such as Helvetica, Verdana, or Arial works well.
   • Manipulate the box using the handles and a left click and drag.
   • To remove the border around the text box, double click on the edge of the box, select "Colors and Lines" to change the line color to "No Line."
9. Save and print to a color or black/white printer.

Give youth print and online newsletters!
Every quarter we send you enough ready-to-print pages to create three full newsletters – one for elementary-school, middle-school, and high-school level readers. We provide newsletters in high resolution for print, and low resolution for e-mail or online viewing.

These lively newsletter pages give your young members previews of stories, activities and comics for the coming three months. Use them to direct young readers to your credit union web site, so they can see what’s new at Googolplex!

IMPORTANT: You add your credit union logo and mailing information. You can print and distribute them, and also make them available as a link on your web site. Got that creative bug? Add your own stories, art, more pages, or customize in other ways - it’s up to you!

Here’s what you get:

• Complete newsletter pages (in high resolution PDF and JPEG formats) for elementary through high school students. The newsletters feature comics, activities and teasers about stories and games for the coming three months.
• All of those same newsletter pages in low-resolution PDF format for online and e-mail use.

Here’s how you get it:
To retrieve the ready-to-print, ready-to-view newsletter pages each quarter, log in to your Googolplex Set-up and Promotion page, select the pages you need, and download them free of charge.

Don’t Waste Your Subscription
If your credit union web address has changed since you last customized Googolplex, make sure your links and credit union logo remain intact by logging in to your Googolplex Set-up and Promotion page.
